Connecting the Dolphin ADVANTAGE PRO
Assuming you have a Dolphin ADVANTAGE PRO Robotic In-ground Robotic Pool Cleaner for Pools:
- Take the power supply unit and plug it into an outlet. Be sure that the GFCI is turned on if you are using one. If your pool is equipped with a 115/230 VAC, 60 Hz Booster Pump, plug the provided power cord into the booster pump surge protector before connecting to a 115/230 VAC, 60 Hz wall outlet.
- Connect the float cable to the float. Make sure that you connect the yellow end of the cable to the “Y” marked on the bottom of the cleaner and that you leave enough slack in the cable so that the cleaner can freely move around your pool. We recommend securing excess slack with plastic zip ties (not included). It is also important that you do not let the cable drape across any corners where it could snag and tear. Doing so could cause serious damage to your cleaner and void your warranty.
- Next, connect one end of your hose to yourcleaner. For best results, use a new hose or one that is in good condition without any kinks or holes. If necessary, usehose weights (included) or tape (not included)to keepthe hose submerged. To avoid pinching, do not overtighten either connection point. Once everything is secure, slowly loweryourcleanerinto then water making sure there are no air pockets
